The Destructive All-rounders

                              The Daredevils having a herd of six all-rounders. Out of this three are overseas players and all three of them are most wanted in short format games. Glenn Maxwell, Chris Morris, Dann Christain, Vijay Shankar, Jayant yadav and Rahul Tewatia are in the lineup. Out of these six, three can be inside the playing XI. Lets see who and all will be the expected players.



                 Glenn Maxwell, the australian hurricane already have lot of fans in India by playing for Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. Now its the time for delhi daredevils fan to celebrate maxwell. This man will play One day match like T20 and T20 as like as Super six match. Everyone still wondering why Punjab left him without retaining????  As everyone heard the term " Maxwell cork screw rule" in our school life. Like that this maxwell also having a rule to screw the bowlers by hitting their balls to boundaries through his special reverse sweep. He is one among the few aussie batsmen who can play spin comfortably in sub-continents. Addition to that he is a good part time bowler too. By keeping him in squad Delhi can expect the score above than the projected one.

         


                   Chris Morris, one of the greatest all-rounder from South African soil.  He already played in IPL for teams like Chennai Super Kings, Rajastan Royals and Delhi Daredevils. Delhi knows about his value so they didnt release him for auction. They retained morris with 7.1 Crores. No one will forget his furious knock of 82 from 52 balls against Gujarat lions with 8 huge sixes. We need to remember one more his quick fire against RPS 38 runs from just 9 balls, but most of the audience remember this match as Sanju Samson maiden IPL century only. Being an all-rounder he can add some quick runs and can take early wickets too. Morris should play at position either 6 or 7.



                         Dann Christain, another aussie all-rounder in Delhi squad. The aged all-rounder having a great demand all over world for the short format tournaments. He played for many teams in both Big bash league and IPL. As of now he played for Deccan Charges, RCB, RSPG and now for DD. With his right hand bat and right arm medium pace he used to consider as a perfect all-rounder at middle order. Till 2017 he has scored 420 runs and 30 wickets from from 36 matches in IPL history. When come to this year its difficult for him to book a spot because of the presence of Maxwell and Morris. The captain may give a chance to him in few games. 



                     Vijay Shankar, the current of Indian cricket selectors for upcoming 50 over world cup. The boy from south rocking in the ongoing Tri-series going in Srilanka against the hosts and Bangladesh. In 2014 he played for Chennai Super Kings in only one match and in 2017 he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Last year he scored 101 runs from 4 matches with an average of 50 including a half-century. In the ongoing Tri-series he bagged a Man of the match award in his very second international T20. BCCI seeing this guy to add in 2019 world cup squad as a all-rounder along with Hardik Pandya. He is a perfect to play at position 6 and 7.






                    Still two domestic all-rounders are there in the queue. One is known player to Indian fans Jayant Yadav and another guy Rahul Tewatia was not familiar but already played in IPL for Kings XI. Jayant Yadav played in Indian test team and ODI team but he played only very few matches in IPL for Delhi Daredevils. His performace in tests very impressive as he scored 221 runs from 3 tests with an average of above 76 and took 9 wickets too. With just 3 test matches he is having a century in his account. Sure this guy will get place in playing XI if the captain wants him. Rahul Tewatia, played for Kings Xi punjab last year. He scored 19 runs and took 3 wickets from 3 matches. Still he has more to go.


Spinners with Speeds

                                 Delhi Daredevils having one of the biggest bowling lineup in IPL 2018. There are 10 bowlers in their list. Out of these 3 are overseas bowlers and 7 domestic players including 2 most wanted bowlers from team India. They had 5 domestic uncapped bowlers in the list. We would like to give a bow for those who picked those players in auction. Lets start with the important players.



                           Amit Mishra, the man who is hanging in the last stage of his cricket career. He played in Indian team for few years. He played for IPL teams like Deccan Charges, Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He is among the list of top five highest wicket takers in IPL history. Mishra is the first player in IPL to achieve a tremendous feet of taking three time hat-tricks in IPL tournaments. Sometimes he may give lot of runs but he has capability to take wickets in regular intervals. Without any arguments DD can select Mishra as domestic spinner in playing XI.





                       Mohammed Shami, the most wanted player of team India. Currently he is facing some problems inside his family. Apart from these when coming to the cricket he just passed a new blood to Indian Bowling lineup along with Bhuvi after the retirement of Zak and Nehra. India looking for a consistent performing bowler and finally they found Shami and Bhuvi. Shami is one of Indian bowlers who can bowl nearly 140kmph speed with a swing. As of now he played for Knight Riders and Daredevils, now he is going to continue is journey with DD. Because of his personal problem we cant assure that this guy will play in IPL. But we hope the problems will gets end before the festival starts. If he plays Shami can accomodate at position 10.



                        Kagiso Rabada, the speedster from Johannesburg is currently the No1 test bowler in the world.  Within a short span of years he achieved this feet with humongous 900 points in ICC rating. He often reminds Makhaya Ntini the former star pacer of South Africa. Morkel and Steyn were at the end of their cricket career this made south african board worry of their bowling lineup. But this guy Rabada fullfills both space made by steyn and morkel. If he performed consistenly surely he will be the future speed star from South Africa. Last year only he made his debut in IPL with team DD, but his performance not upto that mark. But he is in great form, we can expect an electrifying spells from this guy in this season. 



                      Trent Boult, another magical swing pacer in DD bowling lineup. The cricket world knows about the kiwi soldier. The left arm bowler took more than 200 wickets in tests from 52 matches, more than 120 wickets in ODI matches and nearly 40 wickets in T20's. Cricket experters call this guy as the new ball bowler next to Sir Richad Hadlee. It means he can deliver dangerous swings with new ball and definitely he can grab wickets too.  Boult would be a very useful player for DD in both power plays and death overs. Either Rabada or Boult should be there in the squad. 

                                

                
                        Have you seen this boy anywhere???? If not remember his name now " Sandeep Lamichhane" a 17 year old cricketer from Nepal. The biggest success in his life is, now he is going to play for Delhi Daredevils in this year IPL. He came from a small country Nepal. They are in the beginner level of cricket world. But this boy enters in the tournament squad which is played by lot of world class players. With his leg break googly he picked 36 wickets from just 19 matches in list A matches. We were not sure whether he will be in Playing XI or not. But we would like to give a thank to the coach Ricky Ponting who picked him. If this man plays in a match definitely it will be a festival in Nepal and it will encourage nepal cricketers and boost them. I hope gautam will give atleast a single chance to this boy.                             Apart from these players still 5 bowlers are there in delhi squad. Shabaz Nadeem, he is well known among IPL fans. For almost 8years he is playing in IPL for teams like Deccan Charges, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils. Being a spinner he can give a good company to Amit Mishra, Still Harshal Patel, Syan Ghosh, Avesh Khan and Abhishek Sharma is there in the squad. They may get chances to play based on the requirement of Gautam. 

                          Finally Delhi Daredevils completely depends on their captain. They have a best captain now and best coach.  The team have to play with coordination and confidence, then only they can able to face the experienced teams like Mumbai and SRH.  Lets hope Delhi can finish this season with a memorable one.
