Some talents wont get recognition that much easily. It will happen in each and every category right from a corporate employee to a fisherman. In cricket also we can find some talented cricketers who didn't get enough chance to play in International cricket like Robin Uthappa, Manoj Tiwary, Subramaniam Badrinath etc.,
Here the current sensation of young Indian cricket Sanju Samson. He is one of the players whom BCCI seeing them as future of team India. The 23 year old boy from God's own country is not only a batsman and he is also a wicket keeper. The problem of his career starts here only. Sanju is the youngest player to score a half century in IPL history. He is also the youngest ranji captain. Last year in IPL he scored a century and this year he scored a 95+ runs with 10 sixes against RCB. Even though he played his debut match against Zimbabwe in 2015 itself. Still he cant able to find a way to book a permanent position in Indian Team. WHY???????????????
Once all the cricket playing nation having a good wicket keeper with dangerous batting skills. India doesn't have at least a full time wicket keeper until Dhoni comes. Gilchrist for Aussie, Boucher for South Africa, Sangakara for srilanka, Brendon for New zealand and the list goes on. But India managed with Dravid for a long time. The entry of Dhoni in team India smashed all the worries of BCCI. MSD became a hard hitting batsman, Skilled wicket keeper, best finisher and Best captain too.
So MSD conquered the wicket keeping slot without any competition. Now Dhoni is standing at the end of his career. He already retired from test matches. Its time for India to find a replace for Dhoni. Its hard to find a replace for him. Atleast they are expecting a good wicket keeping batsman. Saha hold the test wicket keeper strongly. So now there is an opening for ODI and T20 wicket keeper. Dinesh karthik, Naman Ojha, Pathiv patel crossed the age 30 plus. Now BCCI had faith in Sanju Samson and Rishab Pant. Even though KL Rahul was in race BCCI never consider him as a wicket keeper. They are seeing him as a opening batsman only.
BCCI giving chance to rishab more than samson. But Pant fails to use those chances. Now both were in separate teams Sanju in RR and Pant in DD. Both were wicket keeping batsman in their team. Sanju proved himself in the ongoing season. From our point of view Sanju's career has started now. If he continued his performance like this surely he can fill the space will made by Dhoni in Future.
