New Strategy and New captains in IPL 2018

                      IPL season 11 was successfully going now. As of now each teams played 3 matches. Out of eight teams three having new captains apart from the regular ones. Ravichandran Ashwin for Kings XI Punjab, Kane Williamson for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Dinesh Karthik  for Kolkata Knight Riders. This article we are going to discuss about the performance of these three captains and how they are coordinating the team in ground.

                  Starting from season 1 KXIP tried with many captains right from yuvaraj singh to David miller. But still they cant able to lift the trophy. Their best is from George Bailey and runner up in the tournament. This year they made Ravichandran Ashwin as a captain, he has already played as a captain for tamilnadu ranji team. Till now they won 2 games out of 3. More than a captain ashwin shines with his bat and his new talent leg spin. He manage to win the match against CSK at the last over. Remember in that last over Dhoni was playing on the strike end. Ashwin knows how to use the bowlers and how to setup a field. His team selection also impressive like giving chance to Chris gayle in a big match against CSK.

                After the ball tampering issue David Warner was banned for one year from International cricket. SRH team made the Kiwi captain as their IPL team captain. He already having experience as new zealand captain that reflects in this IPL also. SRH is the only team which have not face any defeat so far. Its not only because of the players, the team building strategy made by Kane Williamson is working well. As a batsman he contributes more in batting also. His field placement and using bowlers at death overs avoiding opponent team from scoring big targets. If Kane lifts the cup for SRH there wont be any surprise in that.

 

             Biggest mystery of IPL 2018 during auction. KKR did not pick their best captain Gambhir. He won two trophies for Kolkata team. Still the management decided not to pick him. And surprisingly they made another move by making Dinesh Karthik as captain. Everyone excpecting Uthappa will lead KKR but the announcement was a surprise one. As of now KKR played 3 matches and scored two 200+ runs. The batting lineup was very destructive when compared to other teams. Still Chris lynn did not showed any fireworks, on the other side Andre Russel and Nitish Rana were in extreme form. Particularly Russel sending every ball to six. Karthik's team selection was good but he is having confusion whom to pick as overseas fast bowler Johnson or Kurran. Even Vinay Kumar also not in form. So better DK to pick Kamalesh Nagarkotti in the place of Vinay.
