The Unknown Fingerprint - Part 1

Preface: 

           Our mother nature belongs to all living and non-living things. But we human beings are trying to uphold the world only for us. Such a transformation left us so pity to buy water and air as we see in some metro cities.We can afford but what is the case of animals and plants? Most of the human inventions are hazardous to nature and its routine cycle. This scientific fiction story also related to that. 

PART 1

                  The year 2025, the world almost depends on technology for everything right from purification of air to power generation from water. But this year is most significant for Indians You know why? They have targeted their nation to be a developed one in 2025 and they have nailed it. But the development is only in technology alone which in turn a terrible back drop on their agricultural activities and products. India was once a land of agriculture and why not it was the rice bowl for the entire bowl.

                 Apart from technology they developed in one more thing.  Any guess? I think you people have guessed it correct. Yeah in overall population. They have crossed China in that and became the world most populated country.

                 Due to their failure in agriculture they started importing food products from countries like Japan, Saudi etc., At this point the government and people realise their mistakes and trying to improve agriculture. But most of agriculture lands were already converted to mighty buildings and the rest became unhealthy to cultivate due to lack of water supply, minerals and presence industrial wastes etc., Unavailability of farmers adds to the crisis. 

                              So the Indian government plans to invest more on technology oriented farming like implementing robots instead of farmers and using DNA modified crops. Immediately an Organization was created in the name of  "AI-Kisan".  Kisan means farmer in Indian language, whereas AI stands for Artificial Intelligence farmers.

              The headquarters formed at Dr.AbdulKalam Island which was earlier known as Wheeler Island. Every nation starts doing their secret inventions and test in particular places like Area 51 for US. Similar fashion India having this island. Things happening inside the island remain mystery for the rest of world. This place is often termed as India’s Missile testing centre.

              Dr. Ravi, a meteorologist who joined as a senior scientist in that organization. But this organization is only for agricultural research right?  Outskirt looks so but along with AI farming plan to create an artificial climate changing device which is the main factor in crop cultivation. Lot of business involved based on this project so business people started investing huge amount in the project.

                          Ravi lived with this wife Suja and his son Manimaran.. Being so honest and intelligent he puts lots of effort in this project which in turn reduced his time in spending with family. His son manimaran ,3 year old kid was interested in hearing stories. So Suja and Ravi used to tell stories from their personal experience. Ravi is an open minded person and won’t keep secrets.He wants to share about his work. So everyday he used to tell about his work as a story to his son.

                    Manimaran used to play with watches and clocks by braking them into pieces. Mani means time in Tamil. Ravi didn't kept this name to his son purposefully. But his son made it like that. Within a short time in that project everyone realise ravi's talent and he became the project head. As a result of his dedication and hard work  ravi was about to complete his project. The success is just a miles ahead.

                 One night he was seriously working in preparing his research papers for next schedule. He was the one left at last from the office. The next morning when he reached office he found a team of security guards having a serious talk. Then he entered his cabin and got shocked all his theoretical papers are burnt. Even details about his project also erased from the computer. It gives a big pain to him as he almost spent every leisure time to work on this. But no one knows how it happened.

                   The investigating team starts their work. They started to search for evidences. Even they checked the records of surveillance camera too. But camera says no one entered inside the cabin and Ravi was the last guy who left. Even it’s a secured area the fire alarm didn't worked at the time of fire. Those alarms were deactivated 10 minutes before that fire. There is no evidence of electricity dripping inside the cabin too.The suspected person was only concentrated on the research papers. Every objects inside the room remains in same position from that incident except those papers and computer.

                   Then the forensic people found a finger print from the mouse and keyboard. It must be the suspect’s one. The AI-kisan team started their work again. Ravi is restless as he is still thinking about the incident. He doubted on few people in the office those who were jealous on his growth. But if they entered inside the cabin the camera would have capture them. It will take another one week for him to prepare this documents again.

                            Two days later the forensic report came. The finger prints not matching with any of the employee working in that island. Investigating team cross checked that fingerprint with the fingerprint of criminals from the all over India which are already registered in their respective jail. It not even matched with anyone. Apart from those people the suspect must be a common man but it is very hard to find him inside the country having more than 150 crore people.

             After two weeks Ravi prepared the papers again for the next schedule of project and they started to setup a device which controls the climate. The device setup will take maximum one year to complete. Everyone in the team feeling proud because if its completed India will be first nation in the world in creating artificial climates. The device constructing work going one side whereas on the other hand Ravi and two other guys Naren, Rahul worked on analysing the pros and cons of this project.

            Within three months almost thirty percent of the work completed. Next day is Diwali so everyone went to celebrate festival with their family. That day the second incident happened.
